Liseth V. Araya, Esq., LL.M., is the founder of Araya Law, PLLC, a boutique Miami law firm focused on Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Business Law, Tax Planning, and Cross-Border LATAM–USA matters.

As a Miami estate planning attorney and international tax lawyer, Liseth is known for her ability to translate complex legal and tax issues into clear, supportive guidance for families and business owners.

Liseth holds both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Miami, with a concentration in international tax. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Costa Rica, which uniquely positions her to counsel high-net-worth families, foreign nationals, and cross-border investors with assets and loved ones in multiple jurisdictions.

Before founding Araya Law, Liseth served as a Senior Tax Consultant at Drage CPA, PLLC, and formerly as an International Senior Tax Associate at Marcum LLP, where she advised global families and multinational businesses on U.S. taxation, business structuring, foreign trust compliance, FATCA and FBAR reporting, and cross-border planning.

Beyond her legal and tax expertise, Liseth brings the perspective of a mother raising four children in Miami. Her children, now ages 21, 19, 16, and 12, have been part of the Miami school community for years. Her two oldest attended Christopher Columbus High School and St. Brendan High School, while her younger children attend Miami Arts Studio and Winston Park K–8 Center. This personal connection to the local community gives her a deep understanding of the real-world concerns families face when planning for their futures, protecting their assets, and preparing the next generation.

Today, Liseth combines her professional background and personal experience to offer compassionate, structured, and culturally aware legal representation to families across Miami-Dade County, South Florida, Latin America, and beyond.
